The two biggest personal draw cards for me with respect to working at Foundry are that we get to work on challenging, forward-thinking engineering problems, and also that we get to collaborate with incredibly inspiring and talented colleagues across the business.

Adele Peleschka — QA Engineer
Having come from Foundry’s Learning Content team and then pivoted into a more technical role as a QA engineer on Katana, I believe that there’s a role for everyone at Foundry! As a QA engineer, I’ve been given a unique opportunity to learn how Katana works under the hood, contribute to the product and user experience in a meaningful way, and also have the opportunity to work alongside our incredible development team. I’ve been given the space and support to learn and develop my skills on a technical and artistic level, whilst also being able to progress my career and build some amazing relationships!

I’ve been at Foundry for over 4 years now and it is a fantastic place to work, they really try to foster a sense of community within and between teams by having guild afternoons on a range of topics and voluntary groups like DEIA or the Eco team, which I lead. Mairead Grogan — Senior Research Engineer
Working as a Senior Research Engineer at Foundry, I investigate exciting new ideas and cutting-edge technologies in machine learning to see how they can be used to solve artists’ problems. I develop these ideas all the way from research to product, from reading research papers and articles to developing the code that will allow this technology to run in Foundry’s software. It’s always so motivating to hear feedback from artists who are using the tools I’ve helped create in their daily workflows. At Foundry, I also get to work with a great team of like-minded, talented people who love solving challenging problems and trying out the latest tools in machine learning.
